Canvasse lifestyle offers a wealth of over 13 million individuals, who have proven to be direct mail responsive AND who have specific lifestyle characteristics. This market is selectable by any powerful combination of over 600 lifestyle and lead-to-purchase variables, which have been generated from the supplier’s lifestyle surveys.
National Canvasse Database
The National Canvasse database covers over 36 million individuals or nearly 20 million households across the UK.
For each adult, the National Canvasse Database contains over 340 characteristics relating to demographics, socio-economics and consumer behaviour. These characteristics can be:
- Actual - reported. These are known characteristics, and include information about company directors, shareholders, and self-employment, as well as self-reported "lifestyle" survey data such as age, income and product ownership and preferences.
- Actual - derived. An individual's name and address is used directly to derive likely characteristics such as gender (from their forename) and household composition (by looking at the relationships and gender of everyone living in the household).
- Modelled. The actual and derived characteristics are linked to a wide variety of demographic, socio-economic, and economic data at the small area level (e.g. Mosaic types). These are used to build statistical predictive models of each individual (e.g. liquid assets), household (e.g. household income) or postcode (e.g. Mosaic).
